(NASDAQ: PATH), a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of branded therapeutics for diseases of the central nervous system, including neurological and psychiatric disorders, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at $10.00 per share, before underwriting discounts and commissions. All of the common stock is being offered by NuPathe. The shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol “PATH” today, August 6, 2010. In addition, the underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock from NuPathe to cover over-allotments, if any.
Leerink Swann LLC and Lazard Capital Markets LLC are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company, LLC is acting as co-manager.
